Jim: Same. I can't believe there's no more homework and I can do what I want.
Bella: Do you have any particular plans for your summer holidays?
Jim: Of course I do. In fact, I'm leaving for Spain tomorrow. I'm going to spend some time lying on the beach doing nothing. I think I've deserved it after such a hard academic year.
Bella: Definitely. Have you packed your suitcase yet? It's important to take everything you need.
Jim: You know me. I'm a light packer. I don't need many things. I've packed only T-shirts and shorts and swimming trunks. Of course I'm taking my camera with me. I like taking pictures of everything I find interesting when I'm on holiday.
Bella: Are you going to take a book to read? I love reading on the beach. Of course, I don't read any serious novels while I'm on holiday.
Jim: Oh no, I'm not that much of a bookworm. Reading is just not my cup of tea. I prefer listening to music on the beach and my phone is always on me anyway. So….
Bella: I see. Well, Jim, when I need to pack my suitcase, I never have enough room there for my things. I take a book, a sketchbook and sketching markers, a lot of clothes and cosmetics, maybe my diary.
Jim: Oh really? Bella, why do you need a sketchbook and a diary on the beach?
Bella: I like to put my impressions on paper. It could be a quick sketch. Sometimes a drawing can say more about your feelings and emotions than any words. Plus, every evening, I write a page in my diary, and my holidays are not an exception.
Jim: I wish I could see your holiday sketchbooks. There must be a lot of interesting pictures there. It's probably even better than photos as they are sure to reflect your personal impressions.
Bella: Well, yes and no. On the one hand, such drawings are certainly unique and original, but on the other hand, even a quick sketch takes much more time than a snapshot.
Jim: You can take photos and then use them as references for your future drawings then. In this case, you won't have to be in a hurry, right?
Bella: Look, Jim, it's not half a bad idea. This way, I can make a real travel book without being in a hurry.
