The project I am currently working on aims to find out what problems Zetlanders face living in a big city. I have found a pie chart showing the results of a survey on this topic. In this essay, I will analyse the data and provide my opinion on the subject of the project.
According to the pie chart, the most popular response to the question "What problems do you face living in a big city?" is "Traffic jams" (44%), followed by "Industrial pollution" (21%). The least frequently chosen problem is "A high crime rate", at only 6%.
Comparing the data, it is clear that the percentage of the respondents who choose "Traffic jams" as their response is significantly higher than the percentage of those who opt for "A high population density" (18%). This is not surprising because traffic congestion affects almost every resident of a large city, causing delays and stress. Furthermore, "Industrial pollution" (21%) is much more popular than "Too many migrants" (11%), which may indicate that environmental concerns are more pressing than social issues for city dwellers.
Notably, one of the problems that can arise with life in large cities for teenagers is the lack of safe outdoor spaces for physical activities. A good solution to this problem is to build more parks and sports facilities, as well as to organise youth clubs and events.
In conclusion, I believe that living in large cities today has many disadvantages, such as pollution, overcrowding and traffic. However, with proper planning and investment, these problems can be reduced.
