Hi Kate! I've found two photos which I think work really well for our project "School subjects", and I'd like to tell you about them.
Both photos show students engaged in different school subjects. One photo shows a teacher with three girls studying geography. They are standing around a large globe, pointing at different countries and discussing something. In the other photo, there is a girl doing a chemistry experiment. She is wearing gloves and a white lab coat, holding flasks with colourful liquids in her hands.
These two subjects are quite different. Geography is about learning about countries, climates, and natural phenomena, whereas chemistry is about substances, reactions, and experiments. Also, geography lessons often involve maps and discussions, while chemistry requires special equipment and safety precautions.
I think both subjects shown in the pictures have their advantages and disadvantages. Geography, for example, helps you understand the world better and broadens your horizons. As for chemistry, it develops logical thinking and teaches you how to conduct experiments carefully. On the other hand, geography can sometimes be boring because you have to memorise many names and facts. As for chemistry, it can be dangerous if you don't follow safety rules, and some experiments require expensive materials.
As for me, when I was a child, I preferred geography. I've always been fascinated by maps and loved learning about different countries and cultures. Also, I enjoyed looking at the globe and imagining what it would be like to visit all those faraway places.
