The Altai Mountains are located in Russia on the border with Mongolia, Kazakhstan and China. They are considered one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Russia. The panoramic views from the mountain tops are impossible to forget. The colour palette of the landscape changes greatly with each season so you will never get tired of it.
What makes the Altai Mountains even more attractive is that they are not easy to get to. In the past, Old Believers sought safety in this hard-to-reach area and built small villages that were hidden from officials and outsiders.
Today visitors still feel like they are the first to see this wild landscape that has stayed untouched so far. To support this impression and make trips to the mountains unforgettable, several eco-lodges will be built in the near future to accommodate nature lovers.
