Speaker A. As for me, I cannot imagine my life without my bike. It's not that I really need to go somewhere. My dad takes me to school and back home, and my sports club is just a few blocks away, so I walk there. Still, having a bike is a must for me because every weekend I go to the countryside. My life would be dull without these long rides when I can just admire the picturesque landscapes I pass by. I never get tired of looking at green valleys and colorful flowers.
Speaker B. If you ask me, well, I don't have a bike because I can't ride it. That's right, everybody is supposed to be able to ride a bike. But when I was a child, my parents were protecting me from everything all the time. Besides, I was afraid to fall off the bike and break my arm or leg. As a teenager, I felt shy to start learning. All of my friends could do it. Now I have an exercise bike, which is a nice substitute. Of course, I can't enjoy the nature while riding it, but at least I can exercise.
Speaker C. I don't like riding a bike. In my opinion, it's plain boring. I don't understand people who are enthusiastic about riding bikes at the weekend. Still, I do agree that riding a bike is great to exercise your muscles and improve your overall physical condition. It's good cardio, even if you do it indoors, like in the gym. My coach says that regular bike training sessions help to get rid of a lot of medical conditions. No wonder bike classes are so popular in gyms now.
Speaker D. I've been trying to lose some weight for quite a while. A couple of months ago my mother suggested trying riding a bike. Apparently her friend's son had the same problem but managed to solve it thanks to regular bike rides. My parents bought me a second-hand exercise bike and I've been using it three times a week for a month and a half already. It's not a piece of cake to ride 20 kilometers per session, but I definitely see the results. I've lost a couple of kilos.
Speaker E. To my mind, you'd better stay away from those bikes. I don't really understand why bikes are so popular these days. In my opinion, it's so easy to hurt yourself while riding a bike. First of all, you can fall off the bike and break a bone. It's going to take a long time to recover in this case. Secondly, it's cardio. So if you're not careful enough with your heart rate, you may get serious problems with your heart later. I'd rather do yoga or go to the swimming pool.
Speaker F. I know people ride their bikes for different reasons. It could be anything from getting slimmer to just getting outdoors to breathe some fresh air. As for me, the reason why I love riding my bike is the incredible sense of freedom I get while riding a bike. I forget about all my problems and worries. There's only me and my bike and I go wherever I want and there's nothing stressing me out. To be perfectly frank, I think it's the best way to get some rest.
