Interviewer: Hello everybody! It’s Teenagers Round the World Channel. Our guest today is a teenager from Russia and we are going to discuss teenagers' attitude to sports. We’d like to know our guest’s point of view on this issue. Please answer five questions. So, let’s get started.

How can we encourage young people to do more sports?
We can encourage young people to do more sports by making physical education lessons more diverse and engaging, and by offering a wider range of sports activities after school. Which sports do you and your friends particularly enjoy? Why?
My friends and I particularly enjoy playing football and basketball because they are active, fast-paced, and easy to organise in our schoolyard. We also like these sports because they allow us to spend time together, compete in a friendly way, and stay fit at the same time.
Why do you think so many people are fond of extreme sports these days?
I think many people are fond of extreme sports because they offer an adrenaline rush and a sense of freedom that everyday life often lacks. Extreme sports also allow people to challenge themselves, test their limits, and overcome fears, which can be very rewarding and empowering.
Which famous Russian sportsmen do you know and admire? What are they famous for?
I admire Alexander Ovechkin, who is a legendary ice hockey player known for his powerful shots and scoring records in the NHL. I also admire figure skater Alina Zagitova, who won an Olympic gold medal at a very young age and is famous for her grace and technical perfection on the ice.
