Interviewer: Hello everybody! It’s Teenagers Round the World Channel. Our guest today is a teenager from Russia and we are going to discuss teens' favourite school subjects. We’d like to know our guest’s point of view on this issue. Please answer five questions. So, let’s get started.
Interviewer: What's your favourite school subject? When did you get interested in it?
Interviewer: Is your future profession connected with this subject? In what way?
Interviewer: When did you start learning English? What tasks did you like doing at your English classes?
Interviewer: Did you do anything outside English classes to master the language?
Interviewer: In what way can your knowledge of English help you in the future?

My favourite school subject is Literature because I love reading classic Russian novels and analysing the characters' inner worlds. I first got interested in it at the age of 13, when our teacher assigned us Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment, and I was completely fascinated by the psychological depth of the story.
Interviewer: Is your future profession connected with this subject? In what way?
Yes, it is connected because I plan to become a journalist or a writer in the future. My passion for Literature helps me understand storytelling techniques and develop strong writing skills, which are essential for creating compelling articles or books.
Interviewer: When did you start learning English? What tasks did you like doing at your English classes?
I started learning English at the age of 7, when I entered primary school. During my English classes, I particularly enjoyed listening to songs, watching short video clips, and doing role-play dialogues with my classmates because these activities made learning feel fun and interactive.
Interviewer: Did you do anything outside English classes to master the language?
Yes, I did quite a lot outside the classroom. I regularly watched English-language films with subtitles, listened to podcasts during my free time, and used language-learning apps to practise vocabulary and grammar every day.
Interviewer: In what way can your knowledge of English help you in the future?
My knowledge of English will help me gain access to a wider range of educational resources, international university programmes, and global job opportunities. It will also allow me to communicate with people from different countries, which is especially valuable in today's interconnected world.
