A nice surprise

Dotty called her friend’s mother Miranda, who was really pleased to hear her voice when she picked up the phone. 30 ______, Miranda was surprised to find out that Dotty wanted to talk to her, not her daughter. Emily

Going on a conference

Megan was preparing for her presentation at a very important conference in Texas. In fact, it 30 _____ like every March the entire San Francisco Bay Area migrated to Austin for the conference. Travel friendship

I booked my first hiking trip to Italy a few years ago. I had just moved to the UK 30__________ I could not find anyone who wanted to travel with me. Philip and Michael
