In your email you ask me whether I have noticed any recent changes in my city. Well, yes, there have been several changes. For example, they have built a new shopping centre and repaired some old streets in the city centre. As for whether I like them, I mostly do, because the city looks more modern and convenient, but I dislike that some old trees were cut down during the construction.
In your email you say that your mum won a cooking competition yesterday. When and where did the competition take place? What was the name of the cooking competition? Were there many participants in the competition?
